“Partybox did an incredible job with our wedding. They took such care in making sure our wedding went perfectly. Chasen is so much more than just a DJ. He is very professional and talented at what he does. He helped with our timeline and kept the evening moving so we didn't have to think about it. Our reception was the most fun night of my life. He played music that got everyone involved and on the dance floor. I've learned that a DJ is a HUGE part of any wedding going well and Partybox is the best there is.” -Rylee, Bride

Our story of Rylee and Andrew’s wedding goes back years before the two were a couple. Rylee was a local high school class leader in charge of an upcoming dance and contacted us to help. She was always smiling, always engaged, always appreciative. She was our youngest dream client and I could tell she was destined for a bright future.

In college, I met Andrew as the social chair for his fraternity. When we first met, it was like I was talking to a friend. We both enjoy traveling, Wimbledon, parties. Working together, it was easy to see Andrew was bright and smiling, always engaged, really respectful, always appreciative. Maybe he was this way because he had met Rylee already. I didn’t know it at the time, but they had already been together for a year.

Throughout the dating years, I would run into Andrew and Rylee at different places across Oklahoma. Football games in Stillwater, date parties or weddings. Once, I saw them at MayFest in Tulsa. It was a really hot Sunday, and they had just come back from Northwest Arkansas, where Andrew is from. Their joy was so refreshing and I remember being so happy that they were enjoying life together.

In July 2017 we got an email from Rylee’s mom, Rikki. Even before Andrew was going to propose, Rylee’s mom wanted to be sure we were part of their wedding team!!! I couldn’t believe it! I was so humbled to be invited. They could’ve had anybody, and they trusted me!! This was a wedding, a couple, and marriage I wanted to honor and celebrate!  But it was NOT OFFICIAL!! I agreed, of course, and sure enough, Andrew couldn’t wait for September and proposed in late August.

During their engagement, meeting them was so fun. They knew what they wanted and wanted to work together so preparing and rehearsing was easier for us, which made it better for their big day.

The day arrives, the weather is perfect and Sparrow looks beautiful inside and out. Rylee and Andrew’s ceremony was sweet and sincere, full of bright smiles, words and prayers, and a presence that made everyone feel like they were part of a uniquely beautiful moment.  And do you know what happens when people feel like that?

They dance!!!  After the ceremony, guests welcomed the newlyweds at the reception with well wishes, gifts and heartfelt toasts. The guests laughed, danced, and stayed until the very end. Then, in true Oklahoma State fashion, they went to Murphy’s for an after party.

For Andrew and Rylee, It has been the start of many incredible life accomplishments. With undergrad behind them, and some time back in Andrew’s beloved Fayetteville, Rylee and Andrew now embark on a new journey to Boston, where Andrew will study law at Boston College and Rylee will study at Harvard Law School. The best is yet to come. On behalf of the whole team…

Thank You and Congratulations! - Chasen
